I am an evaluator who cares deeply about making the world a better place

When I first set out on this path, I learned that people pour billions of dollars into social impact and international development. There are a lot of well-intentioned people working on all kinds of problems in the world, but many of them fail to accomplish what they set out to do.

If you don’t have a solid understanding of your context or you’re not seeking out information from the right places, you might actually be causing harm or wasting your time and resources without realizing it.

I found that there was an urgent need for an evaluator in this space who could help people achieve their goals and most importantly, make sure they do not cause harm.

I now work with clients who want me to think about equity as a core part of their work. Together we’ll make sure that your evaluation is highly participatory and designed to fit the culture of the people who are going to use your product, be impacted by your investment, or benefit from your social impact.

We help social impact businesses, impact investors, and social change organizations.

Questions to ask yourself to determine whether you are a good fit for this work:

  • Do you want a concrete data set to measure the social impact of your company but feel it is too complicated?

  • Do you dream of having a process in place for gathering and using key information effectively?

  • Do you find yourself swimming in data and need help finding the signal in the noise?

  • Does your team have a variety of ideas about what you are trying to achieve and you need more alignment?

  • Do you have an idea of what you want to change for the better, but a fuzzy vision for how to get there?

  • Do you want to apply an equity lens to your work but have no idea where to start, or worry that it will take too many resources?

If these questions resonate with you, we would love to talk.
